Working Principle of Raymond Mill
The Raymond mill is mainly composed of a grinding machine, a classifier, a blower, a finished product cyclone powder collector, a bag dust collector and a connecting air duct. Auxiliary equipment such as a jaw or hammer crusher, an elevator, a storage bin, an electromagnetic vibrating feeder and an electrical control cabinet can be equipped according to user needs.
After the material is crushed to the required particle size, the elevator sends the material to the storage hopper, and then the vibrating feeder sends the material evenly and continuously into the grinding chamber of the main machine of the Raymond mill. Due to the centrifugal force during rotation, the grinding roller swings outward, pressing the grinding ring tightly, and the shovel scoops up the material and sends it between the grinding roller and the grinding ring. The purpose of crushing is achieved due to the rolling of the grinding roller. The fine powder of the ground material is brought into the analyzer for sorting with the circulating air of the blower. The material with too coarse fineness falls back to the re-grinding, and the qualified fine powder enters the finished product cyclone powder collector with the air flow and is discharged through the powder outlet pipe as the finished product.

Wide applications of Raymond mill
Raymond mill is mainly used in metallurgy, construction, mining, chemical industry, road building and other industries. Specifically, the powder it produces can be used as inorganic filler in putty powder, double fly powder, paint, coating, power plant desulfurization powder, plastic filling, toothpaste, paper making and other products.

How to choose the suitable Raymond mill
When you want to purchase a Raymond grinding mill, you have to consider the below factors,
- 1.The raw material you want to grind, if it is hard or not, if it is too hard material, Raymond mill is not a good option;
- 2.The output size and pass rate; it will affect that how to choose a suitable classifier;
- 3. How many tons per hour you want to produce per hour.
After you get the above information exactly, our expert can assist you to choose the right model of Raymond Mill.
