Export of Kaolin Grinding Equipment to Russia
Russia possesses abundant mineral resources, including significant kaolin deposits, a non-metallic mineral widely used in various industries. To capitalize on these resources, a prominent Russian ceramics manufacturer sought to enhance their production capabilities by introducing advanced kaolin grinding technology.

Kaolin Grinding Equipment
Project Background
The Russian company aimed to process raw kaolin into high-quality fine powder to meet the growing demands of the ceramics and coatings industries. They required a reliable, efficient, and precise grinding system to achieve this.
Equipment Selection and Supply
After thorough technical discussions and analysis of the client's needs, our company recommended the MTW European Type Grinding Mill. This equipment offers high efficiency, energy savings, and user-friendly operation, making it particularly suitable for the fine grinding of kaolin. The supplied equipment included:
- MTW European Type Grinding Mill main unit
- Classifier
- High-efficiency dust collection system
- Electrical control system
- Associated auxiliary equipment
Production Process
- Crushing Stage: Large pieces of raw kaolin are crushed to a feed size suitable for the mill (15mm-50mm).
- Grinding Stage: The crushed kaolin is conveyed to the storage silo, then fed uniformly into the MTW European Type Grinding Mill for fine grinding.
- Classification Stage: The ground material is classified by the classifier; oversized particles are returned to the mill for re-grinding, while qualified fine powder proceeds to the next stage.
- Collection Stage: The qualified kaolin fine powder is collected via the high-efficiency dust collection system, then stored in the finished product silo for packaging or bulk storage.
Project Outcomes
Following installation and commissioning, the equipment operated stably, achieving the desired production capacity and product quality. The produced kaolin fine powder meets the stringent requirements of the ceramics and coatings industries, contributing significantly to the local manufacturing sector.
This collaboration provided the Russian ceramics manufacturer with an advanced kaolin grinding solution, enhancing local industrial efficiency and product quality. We look forward to future partnerships with more Russian enterprises to promote economic growth and technological advancement.
